Come check us out and see how you can make a difference in the lives of all Arizonans. This position reports to the Environmental Program Manager for the Lead-Safe Homes Program. This position leads outreach and community engagement efforts to increase awareness of lead hazards, identify eligible households, and support referrals for housing assessment and remediation services. The position works closely with the Program Manager and community partners to expand program reach and participation. Responsibilities include developing and distributing education materials, supporting community presentations and outreach events, and coordinating public awareness activities that promote lead hazard prevention and program participation. The position will be a liaison and build partnerships with community-based organizations, healthcare providers, childcare facilities, housing agencies, and local partners to strengthen referral pathways and expand program visibility. This position is responsible for documenting community and outreach activities to support program monitoring and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement outreach activities and events to increase awareness and participation.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with community partners to support coordination and referrals.
  • Develop and distribute educational materials and outreach resources.
  • Assist in identifying priority populations and support referrals to program services.
  • Document outreach activities and maintain records to support reporting and program monitoring.
  • Other duties as assigned as related to the position.
