About The Position

The Community Dental Home Educator is responsible for facilitating oral health education for students and community members and supporting the linkage of care to dental school-based programs. The Community Dental Home Educator works with the Field Operations team to conduct dental education classes on various dental-related topics.

Requirements

• High school diploma required
• A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines

Nice To Haves

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Health Science or related field with an emphasis in Community Health Education is highly preferred
• 5 years of experience minimum in a related field/position
• Bilingual (Spanish/Vietnamese/Mandarin) is preferred due to the population being served
