About The Position

Saga Senior Living is looking to hire a Community Coordinator to work at Novellus Clairemont, a community that offers a continuum of personalized support that evolves with you, ensuring every resident receives exactly what they need to thrive. This role involves making a difference in someone's life every day by assisting with daily activities, group programs, and special events that support residents’ overall well-being. The Community Coordinator will encourage resident participation, foster a welcoming community, assist with prospective resident follow-ups, and support community tours. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling.

Requirements

• At minimum 18 years of age or older
• High school diploma or GED
• One year of experience planning and leading activities or events
• Must speak fluent English
• Applicants for this position must be able to produce a negative drug test.
• Applicants may be subject to a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily activities, group programs, and special events that support residents’ overall well‑being
• Encourage resident participation by providing hands‑on support and adapting activities to individual needs
• Help foster a welcoming, inclusive community through positive engagement with residents, families, and visitors
• Assist with prospective resident follow‑ups by updating notes and tracking communication in the CRM system
• Support community tours by greeting visitors, assisting with coordination, and helping keep shared spaces tour‑ready
• Coordinate holidays, birthdays, themed activities, and community events through setup, participation, and clean‑up
