About The Position

Acts as the liaison between the Bank and the community in relation to community and civic functions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES The duties listed below may not include all responsibilities that the person in this role may be asked to perform. Incumbent may be required to perform other related duties, as assigned, including cross training across other departments, as necessary. Acts as the liaison between the Bank and the community in relation to community and civic functions Coordinates the bank’s participation at Rio Grande Valley Viper’s events (NBA D-League), school visits, community fundraisers, civic functions, expositions, Mobile ATM Appearances, etc. Gathers reports of volunteer hours, bank participation and PSAs for all community relations events as instructed by the Marketing Director Manages the hiring, daily activities, coaching, evaluating and counseling of reporting staff Participates in job specific training and other various Bank training programs, as necessary Maintains current knowledge of internal risk controls and loss prevention, including reporting of suspicious or unusual customer activity per Bank policy, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel Maintains current knowledge and complies with all federal and state laws and regulations and all established Bank policies and procedures, including internal audit controls related to department operations, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel Maintains current knowledge of all rules, regulations, and laws as they apply to BSA/OFAC/USA Patriot Act/CIP/AML, and ensures adherence by the respective department personnel QualificationsThese specifications are general guidelines based on the minimum experience normally considered essential to the satisfactory performance of this position. A self-starting team player who possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related discipline Two years previous experience in Marketing for a financial institution with multiple locations is preferred PC literacy and knowledge of spreadsheet and word processing software are required Flexibility, professionalism, ability to work in a fast-paced environment and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions Attention to detail and a high degree of mental concentration, as well as the ability to multi-task Good organizational, interpersonal and communications skills Must have a current driver’s license and possess reliable vehicle as use of personal vehicle to visit branches or attend bank sponsored events Ability to work a flexible work schedule Monday through Fridays with occasional weekends or evening hours as needed, including all Rio Grande Valley Viper home games on varying dates and times throughout the basketball season Must be capable of lifting up to 30 lbs. in order to carry boxes, banners, promotional items and displays Position requires the ability to sit for long periods in front of a personal computer, which may cause visual eye strain Bilingual in English and Spanish is desired ORGANIZATION This position reports to the Marketing Director This position assists with overseeing Cowboy Cash TRAINING REQUIREMENTS All employees are required to attend scheduled mandatory trainings and complete online regulatory compliance training courses applicable to their specific job function. In all situations, employees must ensure that their actions fully comply with all federal banking laws and regulations, including internal bank policies and procedures. Failure to adhere to these requirements will be grounds for disciplinary action, including probation and possible termination. Requirements

Nice To Haves
