About The Position

The Community Outreach Coordinator is responsible for activities associated with the requests for in-kind support received by the Green Bay Packers, as well as the implementation/support of Green Bay Packers community programs and events at Lambeau Field. The position requires a flexible schedule which may include some nights, holidays, weekends, and game days as needed. This position will support two areas equally. Giving Area (50%) Review, process and respond to donation requests and inquiries. Determine the appropriate donation for approved donation requests using the inventory on hand. Educate requestors regarding the online submission process. Monitor and respond to general donation emails. Assemble, pack and ship packages weekly or as needed via U.S. mail, UPS WorldShip or other means to fulfill approved donation requests. Update Blackbaud Grantmaking with information from paper and online donation evaluation forms. Coordinate flag flying requests for military personnel. Prepare and organize in-kind items for all Community Outreach events as needed. Event/Program Area (50%) Coordinate various events which includes working with vendors, volunteers, internal departments, managing expenses, contracts, logistics and promotion. Support Game Day activations (i.e. Holiday Mail for Heroes and Give Back Game). Coordinate Training Camp Nonprofit of the Day. Assist with United Way Employee Campaign. Collaborate with digital teams to increase Community Outreach awareness.

Requirements

  • 2-year degree with 2 years of Event Planning experience, 4-year degree a plus.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills.
  • Exceptional verbal, written and interpersonal skills for coordinating with clients, vendors and teams.
  • Effectively prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines in a timely fashion.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Products, Word Processing and data entry skills.
  • Accuracy and ability to proofread is essential.
  • Ability to think on your feet and handle unexpected issues calmly.
  • Ability to contribute to an overall team effort.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to walk and stand for extended periods of time throughout the day.
  • Ability to lift and carry at least 40 pounds.
  • Ability to reach, stoop, and lift on a frequent basis.
  • Ability to focus on projects for periods of time.

Nice To Haves

  • 4-year degree a plus.
  • Pallet jack experience helpful.
