About The Position

Vivian Health is seeking a Community & Content Marketing Manager to grow and engage a passionate audience of healthcare professionals across platforms like Reddit, their own platform community, and social media. This role is ideal for someone who is deeply familiar with online communities, genuinely cares about healthcare workers, and can create content that resonates with Gen Z and Millennial clinicians. The position involves research, content creation, community management, and strategy. A key aspect of the role is nurturing and reactivating the existing base of 2.7 million healthcare professionals to increase community engagement and platform value. The manager will also contribute to shaping Vivian's presence in AI-powered search by ensuring content is structured and authoritative for large language models. Responsibilities include building and nurturing an on-platform community, managing social media presence (Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube), engaging daily with healthcare professionals, identifying key community voices, owning the editorial content calendar, researching healthcare professional concerns, writing various content formats, collaborating with design and video teams, partnering with CRM and product teams for re-engagement campaigns, and creating ongoing reasons for users to return. The role also involves leading on-page SEO initiatives, auditing website health, monitoring search rankings, and developing content for AI-powered search experiences to improve brand presence in emerging channels.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of professional experience in community management, content marketing, social media, or a closely related multi-channel digital marketing role.
  • Demonstrated experience building or engaging communities on Reddit - you understand Reddit culture deeply.
  • Strong writing and communication skills with the ability to translate complex topics into engaging, audience-friendly content across formats (social, blog, email, video).
  • Comfort working across multiple social platforms: LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Familiarity with SEO principles and tools (Semrush, Ahrefs, or Moz).
  • Experience analyzing marketing performance metrics including traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
  • Self-starter mentality - you don't wait to be told what to create; you bring ideas and execute.

Nice To Haves

  • Background as a healthcare professional (nurse, therapist, allied health, etc.) or lived experience in a clinical environment.
  • Experience with image or visual content creation tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Express, Midjourney, or similar) - ability to independently produce custom visuals, illustrations, or AI-generated imagery for blog posts, social content, and campaigns is a strong plus
  • Experience creating short-form video content (Reels, TikToks).
  • Familiarity with AEO, generative search, or structuring content for LLM visibility.
  • Familiarity with healthcare staffing, travel nursing, or workforce topics.
  • Experience with community platforms beyond Reddit (Discord, Circle, Discourse, etc.).
  • Proven portfolio of published content demonstrating engagement, SEO performance, or measurable business impact.

Responsibilities

  • Help build and nurture an on-platform community for healthcare professionals - creating spaces for connection, career advice, and peer support.
  • Build and manage Vivian Health’s presence across social channels — including Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — participating authentically and building credibility with healthcare professionals.
  • Engage daily with healthcare professionals across channels, responding to comments, DMs, and threads with genuine helpfulness.
  • Identify and build relationships with key voices in the healthcare professional community.
  • Own and manage the editorial content calendar, keeping channels active, timely, and relevant across LinkedIn, Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
  • Research what healthcare professionals care about right now- from licensing and pay trends to burnout and career pivots - and turn insights into compelling content.
  • Write short-form and long-form content: social captions, blog posts, Reddit AMAs, newsletter blurbs, video scripts, landing pages, and website copy that supports both brand awareness and lead generation.
  • Help craft the content for our monthly newsletter, turning community insights and trending topics into engaging updates for healthcare professionals.
  • Collaborate with design and video teams (or produce lo-fi content yourself) to bring ideas to life.
  • Partner with CRM and product teams to identify lifecycle moments (e.g., license renewal season, contract end dates, burnout peaks) and deliver timely, relevant content that drives re-engagement.
  • Create content and programming that gives existing users ongoing reasons to return — from community discussions and Q&As to newsletters and platform updates.
  • Lead on-page SEO initiatives including keyword research, metadata optimization, and content structuring to increase organic traffic and visibility.
  • Audit website health and monitor search rankings, collaborating with content and web teams to continuously improve overall search performance.
  • Develop a proven portfolio of published content demonstrating measurable engagement, SEO performance, or business impact.
  • Build and optimize content specifically designed to surface in AI-powered search experiences — including ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and other large language model (LLM) interfaces.
  • Structure content using clear, authoritative formats (FAQs, definitional content, how-tos) that are more likely to be cited or surfaced by AI models when healthcare professionals ask questions about travel nursing, pay rates, licensing, and career decisions.
  • Monitor how Vivian Health is represented across AI-generated responses, identifying gaps and building content to improve brand presence in this emerging channel.
  • Stay current on AEO and generative search trends, bringing forward-thinking strategies to our broader content and SEO approach.
  • Track, analyze, and report on content and community performance across channels, using tools like Google Analytics, Looker, Semrush/Ahrefs, and native platform insights.
  • Monitor key KPIs including organic traffic, engagement rates, conversion rates, and community growth.
  • Share learnings regularly to continuously improve content and community strategy.
