Primary is hiring a Community & Content Manager focused on Compute to grow the audience and community around The Compute 100 among the founders, engineers, researchers and investors who are shaping this field. The Compute 100 is Primary’s platform for the people and companies building the infrastructure of AI. This role sits on the marketing team and works directly with our Compute investment pod, with a particular focus on its San Francisco initiatives. The job is to take what The Compute 100 already is and maximize its impact: deepen and accelerate the content, grow the right audience, and expand where we show up on the ground with the communities that matter. The goal is to make The Compute 100 a staple in the world of compute. We are looking for someone with genuine subject-matter fluency and curiosity across AI infrastructure generally and compute specifically. You stay close to how this world is evolving, then turn that knowledge into action. You can identify a conversation worth having, develop the content around it, and bring the right people into the room. You will own the tactics. Plan the dinners. Find the venues. Build the communications and production timelines. Turn a dinner into a gathering people want to be part of. Identify the communities worth showing up for and make sure Primary shows up with something valuable to contribute. This role is based in San Francisco and expected to work in office at least 3 days a week.
