Requirements

  • Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered and insured motor vehicle.
  • Flexible, compassionate and able to work independently within the community.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to person-centred care.

Nice To Haves

  • WHD4: Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
  • WHD5: Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and at least 560 hours satisfactory in-service experience.

Responsibilities

  • Provide personalised support services to help aged, frail or disabled consumers remain living independently in their own homes or residential care settings.
  • Assist with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, transport and social support.
  • Work collaboratively with consumers, families and health professionals to support individual goals and wellbeing.
  • Deliver flexible, consumer-directed care that promotes choice, dignity and independence.
