Requirements
- Current driver’s licence and access to a reliable, registered and insured motor vehicle.
- Flexible, compassionate and able to work independently within the community.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a commitment to person-centred care.
Nice To Haves
- WHD4: Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position.
- WHD5: Completed AQF Certificate III relevant to the position and at least 560 hours satisfactory in-service experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide personalised support services to help aged, frail or disabled consumers remain living independently in their own homes or residential care settings.
- Assist with personal care, meal preparation, cleaning, transport and social support.
- Work collaboratively with consumers, families and health professionals to support individual goals and wellbeing.
- Deliver flexible, consumer-directed care that promotes choice, dignity and independence.
