About The Position

Action Property Management is seeking a Community Care Specialist for their corporate office in Irvine. This is a fully remote position requiring a quiet designated work area and fast internet. The role involves providing a high level of customer service by assisting clients and vendors with maintenance requests, accounting questions, and other general inquiries via phone, chat, and email. The company has a legacy spanning four decades and is the largest privately owned HOA management company in the West, serving over 300 communities with nearly 900 dedicated team members.

Requirements

  • Must be 18 years of age.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General knowledge of Microsoft Outlook.
  • General knowledge of office equipment such as a personal computer.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30 wpm.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a customer service call center environment.
  • Demonstrate a high level of customer service, sound judgment, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to speak and enunciate clearly over the telephone.
  • Excellent written communication skills.
  • Personable, outgoing, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Must have a quiet designated work area and fast internet for remote work.

Responsibilities

  • Receive all incoming calls, follow scripts, and meet standards (60-80 calls per day).
  • Listen to and process voicemails.
  • Assist with handling chats from residents.
  • Process incoming emails from managers, vendors, and homeowners.
  • Create work orders and relay them to vendors or managers.
  • Return all phone calls in accordance with company policy.
  • Take detailed messages, relay information, and enter notes.
  • Communicate with managers regarding requests needing special attention.
  • Understand and act in accordance with relevant Community Care Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Perform other tasks necessary for the smooth operation of the Community Care Department.
  • Be available to work all shifts within the department, between 7 am - 6 pm PST.
