We invite you to watch our "Welcome to DPA" video here: https://vimeo.com/1023052645?share=copy What you will be doing: In this position, you will be responsible for the supervision of a team of childcare licensing specialists who maintain a workload of licensed childcare facilities statewide, including conducting on-site inspections and investigations to determine compliance with the State of Alaska Child Care Licensing Statutes, Regulations, and Policies and Procedures. You will apply knowledge of Child Care Licensing requirements to providers, partner agency members, and the general public. You will also be responsible for reviewing, approving, and issuing Reports of Inspection, Reports of Investigation, Notices of Violation, and Enforcement Actions, and ensuring the childcare facility is in full compliance before the issuance of a Child Care License. This position requires regular Travel within the State of Alaska .

Requirements

  • A valid and current Alaska driver's license is required.
