About The Position

Leland Management is seeking an onsite Community Association Manager for one of our communities in the Ocala, FL area. This position is responsible for the day-to-day management and operation of a master-planned community in Ocala, Florida, consisting of one Master Association and three sub-associations. The Community Association Manager (CAM) serves as the primary liaison between the Boards of Directors, homeowners, and vendors, providing exceptional customer service and fostering positive relationships throughout the community.

Requirements

  • Current Florida Community Association Manager (CAM) License required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of community association management experience preferred.
  • Experience managing master-planned communities and multiple associations is highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of Florida homeowners' association laws.
  • Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills.
  • Ability to prioritize competing projects and deadlines across multiple associations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Professional demeanor with exceptional customer service and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and association management software.
  • Effectively navigate the relationship between the Master Association and three sub-associations while maintaining clear communication and appropriate separation of responsibilities.
  • Be capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
  • Build positive working relationships with Board members, residents, vendors, and fellow staff.
  • Exercise sound judgment and professionalism in handling confidential and sensitive matters.
  • Provide timely follow-up and maintain a high level of responsiveness to Boards and residents.
  • Demonstrate initiative, accountability, and the ability to work independently while supporting the goals of each association.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the daily operations of the Master Association and three sub-associations.
  • Work closely with each Board of Directors, understanding and respecting the responsibilities and authority of each individual association.
  • Coordinate and attend board meetings, annual meetings, workshops, and committee meetings as required.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, management reports, action item lists, and follow up on Board directives.
  • Oversee and coordinate community projects, ensuring each association's projects receive individualized attention and are completed on schedule.
  • Coordinate with vendors, contractors, and service providers to ensure quality work and contract compliance.
  • Conduct regular property inspections and identify maintenance or covenant enforcement issues.
  • Assist with budget preparation, reserve projects, and financial planning in coordination with accounting staff.
  • Administer architectural review applications and ensure compliance with governing documents and community standards.
  • Enforce governing documents fairly and consistently.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to homeowner inquiries, concerns, and requests.
  • Maintain accurate records, reports, and association files.
  • Collaborate with management company staff to ensure efficient operations and excellent customer service.
