About The Position

EYA, an award winning residential builder/developer, is seeking a Community Assistant. Supporting the Sales Manager, this position participates in all aspects of on-site sales including selling the community vision, providing community and home information to prospective buyers, assisting sales manager in preparing sales agreements, and managing the relationship with the homebuyer from contract signing through settlement. This is a full-time position and weekend work is required. This position will also require you to obtain a real estate license. In this position, you will be the “face” of EYA, always displaying our passion for excellence, integrity, respect, and zeal for relationships, community and sustainability. The ideal candidate will be energetic and a self-starter with a passion for sales, real estate and other personal interests.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years’ work experience, customer service background preferred; new home sales specific experience is highly preferred.
  • College degree preferred in areas such as hospitality, customer service, and similar.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to sell the community vision.
  • Quick thinker able to process and respond to customer inquiries/requests with positive results.
  • Impeccable integrity.
  • High energy level with excellent people skills.
  • Self-direction, tact, diplomacy and a clear, courteous and professional manner when dealing with the public.
  • Ability to work cooperatively with staff inside and outside of the department.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
  • Computer proficiency and attention to detail.
  • Must obtain a real estate license.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with CRM systems and databases is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide community and home information to prospective home buyers. Sell the community vision.
  • Demonstrate the EYA values of integrity, respect, collaboration, can-do attitude, and passion for excellence.
  • Maintain potential prospect leads system including regular phone follow-up.
  • Assemble sales material and maintain office inventory.
  • Monitor and maintain all community activity such as models, specifications, signage, landscaping, entrances, etc.
  • Process and complete all necessary paperwork for sales contracts, loan pre-qualification/application and settlements.
  • Manage relationship with the home-buyer from contract signing through settlement to include prompt and timely follow-up and coordination with internal team.
  • Team with on-site Construction members to create a positive buyer experience.
  • Work with Settlements Department to ensure smooth and on-time settlement process.
  • Participate in virtual meetings and give video presentations.
