About The Position

Tim Moran Hyundai is seeking a bilingual, energetic, outgoing, and creative Community & Social Media Marketing Manager to be a recognizable face of the dealership. This role is not traditional; it focuses on creating engaging social media videos to drive local customer visits and build community relationships. The ideal candidate is confident on camera, comfortable approaching people, enthusiastic about community events, and can translate creative ideas into measurable dealership traffic.

Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Serve as a primary on-camera personality for Tim Moran Hyundai.
  • Record short-form videos for social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts, etc.).
  • Invite local customers to visit the dealership, meet the team, attend events, and take advantage of offers.
  • Produce videos featuring vehicles, technology, promotions, arrivals, customer deliveries, employees, community events, dealership operations, and benefits.
  • Develop video concepts, openings, captions, and calls to action.
  • Film, edit, caption, publish, and organize content using a smartphone and editing apps.
  • Respond to comments and messages to drive engagement and sales.
  • Maintain a consistent posting calendar and dealership voice.
  • Obtain necessary permissions before publishing content.
  • Build relationships with local schools, youth organizations, non-profits, churches, and first responders.
  • Contact school administrators, athletic directors, coaches, teachers, and student leaders.
  • Offer dealership-supported fundraising opportunities (car washes, barbecues, sports fundraisers, etc.).
  • Coordinate event logistics including dates, locations, staffing, promotion, and follow-up.
  • Attend community meetings, school events, sporting events, festivals, and local business functions.
  • Identify opportunities for the dealership to support local causes.
  • Create social media content for community events.
  • Develop relationships for long-term goodwill, referrals, and positive recognition.
  • Ensure school activities comply with district, dealership, and legal requirements.
  • Create and manage an active calendar of dealership and community events.
  • Coordinate event employees, volunteers, vendors, food, equipment, and promotional materials.
  • Promote events through social media, email, text, and other channels.
  • Capture photos, testimonials, and video interviews at events.
  • Follow up with participating organizations and seek recurring partnerships.
  • Maintain records of event costs, attendance, funds raised, leads, appointments, and visits.
  • Publish a minimum of 20-30 original short-form videos per month.
  • Appear personally in multiple videos each week.
  • Make at least 15 new community-outreach contacts each week.
  • Conduct at least four in-person community visits each week.
  • Develop at least three new qualified school or community partnerships each month.
  • Schedule or complete a minimum of two dealership-supported community events each month.
  • Provide a weekly scorecard of activity and results.
