Community + Affiliate Manager

Pacifica BeautyNew York, NY
$95,000 - $100,000Hybrid

About The Position

Pacifica Beauty is looking for a Community + Affiliate Manager to be the accountable owner and executor of all things community — soup to nuts. This person partners with the broader team on strategy, but once direction is set, they run with it: planning, execution, relationships, metrics, all of it. You'll be the voice talking directly with our community, the one seeding and rallying creators around the brand, and the connective tissue making sure what happens in our DMs, comments, and creator partnerships informs how we talk to customers everywhere else — from CSR to FAQ to the shopping experience itself. This role is hybrid, with willingness to travel for events and creator activations as needed.

Requirements

  • 3+ years in community management, affiliate marketing, or social media, ideally at a DTC or omni-channel consumer brand, with real ownership of a program end to end
  • A natural communicator — you're comfortable being the voice of the brand in conversation, not just behind a content calendar
  • Experience seeding product and building real creator relationships, not just managing a list
  • A bias toward execution — you don't wait to be told what's next, and you're comfortable being accountable for outcomes
  • A sharp eye for patterns — you notice when five people ask the same question and know that's a signal, not noise
  • Comfort owning metrics and reporting on community health, not just vibes
  • Strong collaborator on strategy, strong independent executor on delivery
  • Willingness to travel for events, activations, and creator relationship-building

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with affiliate platforms (Levanta, CreatorIQ, or similar) is a plus
  • A genuine love of beauty, community, and making people feel heard

Responsibilities

  • Own community strategy execution across all social channels (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Facebook Groups, Threads, Reddit, and emerging platforms) — you're accountable for the full lifecycle, from planning through daily execution.
  • Talk directly with our community and build authentic, two-way relationships rather than just publishing content.
  • Own community health, including sentiment, response times, and the overall tone and safety of our spaces, and track the metrics that tell us whether community is actually thriving (engagement rate, sentiment trends, growth, response time, share of voice).
  • Proactively seed product to creators and rally them around brand moments, launches, and campaigns.
  • Build genuine relationships with high-affinity creators so they show up for the brand organically, not just when there's a paid ask.
  • Own affiliate program performance across Amazon, Shopify Collabs, Walmart, and TikTok Shop, and execute the shift toward curated, in-house creator programs — content licensing, Spark Ads, and creator briefs included.
  • Own communication across all community touchpoints, making sure our voice is consistent whether someone's in the comments, in a DM, or reading a reply to a review.
  • Serve as the bridge between community insights and CSR/FAQ — flagging recurring questions, confusion points, or complaints so they get addressed proactively in FAQ, PDP copy, and CSR scripting.
  • Partner cross-functionally so the customer experience feels consistent no matter how someone finds us.
  • Bring the community to life in person — representing Pacifica at events, activations, and creator meetups, and bringing community members and creators along to experience the brand firsthand.
  • Collaborate with the broader marketing and product team to shape community and creator strategy, bringing the on-the-ground intelligence only this role has visibility into.
  • Translate community and affiliate activity into actionable insights and leads for leadership — trends, friction points, whitespace opportunities, and signals worth acting on.
  • Own regular reporting on community health and metrics.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary and benefits package.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and development.
  • Employee discounts on Pacifica Beauty products.
  • A supportive and inclusive work culture that values diversity, creativity, and innovation.
  • Meaningful work that makes a positive impact on people and the planet.
