About The Position

Greenway Spring Green in Spring Green, Wisconsin, is hiring a part-time Community Activities Specialist to support residents of its skilled nursing facility and residential apartments. The role involves planning games, crafts, and outings, encouraging residents to participate, collaborating with staff, and helping create a vibrant community atmosphere. The schedule is 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. every other weekend. Prior caregiving or activity-planning experience and a CNA license are preferred; the employer will pay for CNA training if the candidate does not already have a license.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 1 year of experience.
• Familiarity with basic software tools for record-keeping and activity planning.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to assist with transporting residents to the activity area.
• Willingness to participate in ongoing training, workshops, and seminars.
• Willingness to assist with and set up activities as directed by the Activity Director.
• Willingness to chaperone off-site activities.
• Empathetic and adaptable.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience in caregiving or activity planning.
• CNA license; the employer will pay for the employee to obtain one if they do not already have it.
