Community Access Facilitators empower people to live full and meaningful lives, by building their confidence and autonomy and supporting them in exploring and progressing their career and life goals. In this role, you will enable adults with a disability to gain and maintain valued social roles (student, employee, volunteer, neighbour, friend) and to be recognised as equal citizens. This role is based in a day service setting, working with adults with intellectual disabilities and/or autism, key staff, their nominated circles of support, and multidisciplinary team members through a person-centred approach towards the values of New Directions: person centred; community inclusion; active citizenship and quality services.
