About The Position

Mounts Botanical Garden is seeking a talented, organized, and creative Communications Specialist to support audience engagement, digital communications, social media management, editorial content, and campaign execution for one of South Florida’s premier cultural and horticultural destinations. This position serves as the Department’s primary communications coordination role and supports newsletters, website communications, social media, email marketing, storytelling, audience engagement, and public-facing communications initiatives. The Communications Specialist supports attendance-driving campaigns, membership initiatives, public programs, fundraising support efforts, retail and nursery promotion, and institutional visibility through coordinated digital communications and audience engagement.

Requirements

Strong writer and communicator
Experience in Social media management and audience engagement
Experience in Digital communications and email marketing
Experience in Editorial writing and storytelling
Experience in Website content management
Experience in Campaign coordination and analytics
Experience in Multi-platform communications support
Experience in Audience engagement and digital publishing

Nice To Haves

Experience with WordPress, Constant Contact, Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, CRM systems, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, and related digital communications tools
Experience in nonprofit, tourism, cultural, hospitality, arts, museum, garden, or visitor-serving organizations
