About The Position

Assists in a range of communications & marketing initiatives within the Office of College Relations & Marketing. May work in a specialty area within a department or office. May coordinate, evaluate, develop, and implement specialized materials to support departmental programs. May provide training or support training programs. May review and process documents, maintain databases, and provide reports. May provide information to others regarding processes and procedures. May assist with general reporting and maintenance of databases as required.

Responsibilities

  • Creating and distributing content such as blogs, infographics, videos, and press releases as needed
  • Tracking social media engagement to identify high-performing ideas and campaigns for scalability
  • Writes and edits news communications, including content for social media platforms, media advisories, news releases, feature stories, publications, and other storytelling opportunities
  • Supports the Office of College Relations & Marketing in scheduling photography sessions at the direction of the Marketing Photographer and Associate Director of College Relations in alignment with marketing and college goals
  • Supporting team at live and online events
  • Work is performed in a standard office environment.
  • Subject to standing, walking, sitting, bending, reaching, kneeling, pushing, and pulling.
  • Use communication platforms such as Google Docs, Google Sheets, Word, and Excel.
  • Occasional lifting of objects up to 30 pounds.
  • Reliable Transportation.
  • Driving between ACC Campus locations will be required.
  • Work safely and follow safety rules.
  • Report unsafe working conditions and behavior.
  • Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
