Aon CorporationMannsville, OK

About The Position

This is a virtual role with the flexibility to work anywhere within the continental United States. Candidates based near Hammonton, NJ will be expected to work in a hybrid arrangement (combination of remote and in-office). Aon is in the business of better decisions. At Aon, we shape decisions for the better to protect and enrich the lives of people around the world. As an organization, we are united through trust as one inclusive, diverse team, and we are passionate about helping our colleagues and clients succeed. Employer-sponsored health and welfare benefit programs form the foundation of the U.S. health care system. These programs have evolved over time as employers have attempted to handle the changing needs of employees, rising program costs, and the impact of both legislation and global pandemic. We’re looking for a talented writer with real-world experience who can translate complex and potentially dry topics into stories that drive employees to make wise decisions about health. As a writer and communications professional, you will produce compelling benefits curriculum for our clients – and ultimately serve the employees who are facing real-world benefits decisions. You will read and understand business documents, and write user-friendly content in response. Prepare benefit guides, voiceover scripts, articles, and other employee-facing content. Understand and help evolve our industry’s best practices to create work that is clear, relevant, timely, and efficient. Work in both Office documents, including Word and PowerPoint; various Aon content and web tools; and Adobe applications such as Adobe InCopy or even InDesign. Work with short turnaround times to prepare crisp and concise presentations, text, and even infographics. Prioritize tasks based on deadline proximity and client need, working with a tight group of other communicators, designers, and consultants.
