This position involves receiving and responding to requests from enforcement officers/agents through telecommunication equipment. The role also acts as the point of contact with the general public for emergency situations, accidents, complaints, etc. This is an entry-level position with direct supervision from a Communications Officer Supervisor or higher-level personnel. The work is performed statewide. This role differs from a Communications Officer 2 by the absence of experienced-level duties.
