About The Position

The Executive Communications Partner serves as a key resource to a VP and their leadership team. You will develop and execute communication strategies that enhance executive presence, translate technical complexity into compelling narratives, and amplify the organization's impact across internal and external audiences. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, positioning you as a trusted advisor who bridges planning and delivery while contributing to broader organizational visibility.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience with executive communications
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, Journalism, or related field
  • Demonstrated success creating content that engages employees, customers, partners, and/or external stakeholders
  • Strong visual and written communication skills, with expertise in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and related tools
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities while maintaining high-quality execution

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in IT or technology a plus
  • Experience using AI tools to scale impact, drive efficiency, and enhance communications
  • Knowledge of Cisco products and/or enterprise technology landscape

Responsibilities

  • Partner with executive and their team to develop communication strategies and roadmaps.
  • Identify and capitalize on strategic opportunities that align with business objectives.
  • Support the management of high-impact communications for time-sensitive situations.
  • Craft clear, compelling messaging for diverse audiences.
  • Develop speeches, keynotes, presentations, articles, and multimedia content that establish thought leadership and reinforce organizational priorities.
  • Work with executives to refine their presentation skills, communication style, and engagement approach with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Partner with PR, Marketing, Product, Analyst Relations, Sales, and other functions to ensure messaging consistency and amplify organizational initiatives across channels.
  • Design and implement communication vehicles (broadcasts, roundtables, social media, events, etc.).
  • Establish metrics to measure effectiveness and refine strategies based on feedback and results.
