About The Position

This is a Contract Communications Manager role focused on executing GSR’s external and internal communications during a maternity leave period, ensuring continuity across media, content, and internal messaging. You will operate within an established framework, owning day-to-day communications across media and internal channels, while partnering closely with stakeholders across the business to ensure accurate, consistent, and timely messaging.

Requirements

Experience in communications, PR, or a related field, ideally within crypto, web3, or fintech
Strong understanding of crypto markets, narratives, and media landscape
Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to communicate complex topics clearly and concisely
Experience supporting press relations and external communications
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Comfortable working cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates sound judgment, particularly in market-sensitive situations

Responsibilities

Executing external communications, including press releases, company announcements, and industry commentary
Managing media engagement, including proactive outreach and handling inbound requests from crypto, tech, and financial press
Drafting and refining written content across external communications and internal messaging
Supporting communications for product launches, partnerships, and strategic initiatives
Monitoring coverage and narratives, identifying opportunities, and escalating potential reputational or market-sensitive issues where appropriate
Working closely with Product, Legal, and Marketing to ensure messaging is aligned and accurate, maintaining consistency across all communication channels
