FHI 360 is offering a paid internship for a student interested in education and workforce development. Under close supervision, the intern will perform entry-level professional duties, receive training, and gain practical experience and broad exposure to a global nonprofit organization. The role is with FHI 360’s Institute for Work and Learning (IWL), which designs, runs, and evaluates education and employment programs. The intern will support communications and learning content development for Next Engineers, a global college-and-career readiness initiative funded by the GE Aerospace Foundation. The initiative seeks to increase the number of young people interested in engineering education and careers through classroom-based hands-on activities and a two-year out-of-school Engineering Academy for high school participants. The internship offers experience with a large global nonprofit, opportunities to shadow and learn from communications, technical, and program management professionals, and exposure to youth-centered resource development, workforce development, and college and career readiness. The position is 100% remote, with a flexible schedule based on project needs. Reliable, high-speed internet access is required.
