About The Position

This internship focuses on supporting internal communications, gathering stories for the employee intranet, attending and documenting meetings, and assisting with public and media relations efforts. The intern will work closely with the Assistant Director of Communications and the Director of Public and Media Relations.

Requirements

• Required enrollment at John Glenn College of Public Affairs college in a Bachelor's or Master's level program.

Responsibilities

• Support internal communications by interviewing employees and gathering stories for The Loop, COTA's employee intranet site.
• Attend meetings and take notes on internal/external communications.
• Support the Assistant Director of Communications on internal initiatives and events.
• Support the Director of Public and Media Relations at media events, writing news releases and helping maintain the news page on COTA.com.
