The Arizona State Treasurer’s Office is seeking a Communications Coordinator to support the agency’s public affairs, external relations, and communications functions. Under the direction of the Public Information Officer, this position assists with the day-to-day work of communicating with the public and community partners on behalf of the Treasurer’s Office. This is a part-time position guaranteed at least 20 hours weekly, offering a firsthand look at communications and public affairs work within a statewide elected office. This position may offer the ability to work remotely, within Arizona, based upon the department's business needs and continual meeting of expected performance measures. Across our many agencies, boards, and commissions, many State employees participate in the State’s Remote Work Program and are able to work remotely in their homes, in offices, and in hoteling spaces. All work, including remote work, should be performed within Arizona unless an exception is properly authorized in advance.
