Brown & Brown is seeking a Communications Coordinator to join our growing team in Oak Brook, IL! The Communications Coordinator is responsible for a broad variety of support services for internal and external customers while in the Communication Coordinator role. Acquires a knowledge of communication skills as well as overall insurance knowledge in this role within the Employee Benefits Department.

Requirements

  • High School degree or equivalent required
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Good verbal and written communication skills and good grammatical skills
  • Ability to identify and resolve exceptions and to interpret data
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • 1+ years experience in a similar position

Nice To Haves

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Communications/Graphic Design

Responsibilities

  • Intake/Recording of Team Projects
  • Maintenance of Communication Team Systems
  • Basic – Enhanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
  • Basic Benefits Guide updates
  • Basic Open Enrollment Communications support: postcards, flyers, etc.
  • Basic knowledge of Benefit Mobile App
  • Basic RFP response support
