The Product Communications Team is responsible for telling exciting stories about Roblox’s technology/innovation, the creative and financial opportunity for creators, the amazing content on the platform created by the vibrant global creator community, how people can connect with friends and interests on Roblox and express themselves, and much more. We’re seeking a junior member to join this team. As a Coordinator on the Product Communications Team, you will have the opportunity to build your product communications skillsets from identifying storyangles, building media relationships, and diving into a host of different projects and responsibilities including partnering closely on our annual Roblox Developers Conference. You have some experience, either in-house or agency, with internships plus 2-3 years of experience. You are a curious self-starter who is eager to learn and to try new things. You are a digital native who is excited about the gaming and technology space. Requirements

Some experience, either in-house or agency, with internships plus 2-3 years of experience.
Curious self-starter who is eager to learn and to try new things.
Digital native who is excited about the gaming and technology space.
Meticulous and detail-oriented with the ability to work semi-autonomously, with manager support.
Skilled writer who knows how to clearly communicate the main points to their audience and pull messages through their communications.

A self-starter who enjoys working autonomously, while also ensuring that you are always bringing team members and key stakeholders along in the process.
Someone who thrives in a fast-paced and fluid environment and who is comfortable with a high degree of change.

Responsibilities

Partner across the Product Communications Team to create materials to support communications efforts, including briefing books, media lists, interview schedules, spokesperson grids, etc.
Support communications strategy and media outreach, including development of media alerts, pitches, and press releases. Opportunity to partner on proactive storytelling and announcements.
Get smart on the media landscape and build media relationships to provide strategic recommendations to your teammates on communications strategy and tactics.
Keep a pulse on the industry landscape and emerging trends to proactively identify storytelling opportunities and potential risks. Proactively brainstorm new story or campaign ideas.
