About The Position

Develops and delivers content campaigns on topics including healthcare, wellness, retirement, financial wellbeing, total rewards, benefits, compensation programs, recruiting, and organizational change. This role involves writing for various core and custom products and platforms, engaging internally and as a client-facing resource, and being proficient in content development with a focus on digital marketing. The consultant will absorb and support technology and service solutions, including industry trends, practices, and risks. They will write content for developers and programmers to build content pages for digital platforms (but not the code itself). The role requires collaboration with and direction of others to ensure a balance between user experience and business outcomes, and participation in multi-disciplinary client teams. Consulting with internal partners and clients to lend content expertise and point of view is essential, as is supporting the Creative Studio by applying market trends and content best practices, and contributing to product development and strategic initiatives. A broad understanding of Alight’s core businesses, technology, products, and offers is necessary.

Requirements

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating creativity and a thoughtful approach.
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience.
  • HR/benefits expertise writing content for an organization in topics of healthcare, wellness, retirement, financial wellbeing, total rewards, benefits, and compensation.
  • Ability to write and guide others to write compelling communication materials for a variety of audiences and media.
  • Ability to assimilate source materials, input from subject matter experts and other relevant documentation to create strategic recommendations and content.
  • Ability to think strategically with a problem-solving attitude.
  • Flexibility to balance and meet multiple deadlines, often with quick turnarounds with a detail-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to understand role on project/team, while going beyond to add value.
  • Efficient and effective collaboration with clients and colleagues partnering with subject matter experts from other lines of business.
  • Familiarity with AI chatbots (Copilot) and building AI agents and experience writing content for video.
  • Proficiency in technical writing and software fluency, including Microsoft 365 and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills.
  • Dynamic presentation skills.

Responsibilities

  • Establishing and applying a broad understanding of Alight’s core businesses, technology, products and offers.
