About The Position

Warden AI is building trust infrastructure for AI systems, focusing on independent testing, standards, and certification to ensure AI is fair and compliant. The company currently audits AI hiring and HR systems for bias and compliance, working with numerous HR Tech vendors, staffing firms, and enterprise employers. Warden Assured is their standard and certification mark, designed to provide a credible answer to what "assured" AI means in the market, especially as regulations like the EU AI Act and NYC Local Law 144 are introduced. Warden is a growing company with ten employees, generating real revenue and maintaining profitability.

Requirements

  • 8+ years in communications and/or marketing roles.
  • Experience selling to enterprise buyers and/or experience working in a nonprofit, standard and certification body, B Corp, or advocacy organization.
  • Early in leadership career, with experience working closely with a marketing lead and readiness to step up.
  • Thoughtful, strategic, organized thinker with high attention to detail.
  • Strong writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to translate abstract and technical concepts into engaging content.
  • Understanding of movement-building and the nuances of persuading an industry to adopt a shared standard.
  • Proactive and hands-on approach, willing to be involved in the details and drive execution.
  • Comfortable growing into a role's scope before the title fully reflects it.
  • US work authorization required.

  • Experience in demand generation or growth roles (though this is not the priority for this specific role).

Responsibilities

  • Ownership of the Warden narrative, including what is communicated, in what words, and why it matters to external stakeholders.
  • Developing the messaging architecture for Warden Assured, translating technical standards into understandable language for various audiences (CEOs, journalists, job candidates).
  • Testing and refining messaging to ensure it resonates with skeptical buyers, regulators, and candidates.
  • Owning the Warden brand and its evolution, including a website refresh and revised brand identity.
  • Supporting the Warden Assured coalition of nonprofit and advocacy partners, fostering it as an industry movement.
  • Recruiting new partners to the coalition and ensuring existing partners find value in their participation.
  • Managing the company's external presence across press, analysts, partners, and the wider industry.
  • Supporting external communication efforts such as talks, op-eds, podcasts, and written commentary.
  • Overseeing and supporting the Marketing Manager in customer marketing and onboarding, event preparation, sales collateral creation, and product launch execution.
