Far fewer understand what we have built, how many people rely on us, or why it matters. Changing that is the core of this job. You will be Proton's presence on the ground in the US, spending significant time building relationships with journalists, editors, podcast hosts, newsletter writers, and video journalists. You will get Proton's story in front of the people who shape how millions of Americans think about privacy, technology, and the internet. This is a media relations role at its core. Think of it as sales, with journalists as your customers. You will report to Proton's Head of Communications and work closely with colleagues across communications, product, and policy teams in Europe and the US. Proton’s Communications team is currently spread across the US, France, UK, Germany and Switzerland. This is the right role for someone who is hungry, naturally networked, and ready to take real ownership of a major market.
