This position involves programming, monitoring, maintaining, upgrading, and troubleshooting the Bell County Public Safety radio system. The role also includes maintaining and updating radio console software, scheduling work activities, tracking service calls and installations, and managing the radio database and software. The technician will assist internal and external users with service needs and new requests, working with leadership to prioritize tasks. The position requires moderate supervision with limited independent judgment and the ability to work outside standard office hours, including weekends and holidays, adhering to the department and county attendance policies.
