This is a chance to build and own commodity strategy for resins, TiO, carbon black, and chemical additives across a company's US operations—not just process purchase orders. You'll lead supplier selection, negotiate contracts, and drive total cost of ownership analysis for materials that directly shape production continuity and cost performance. You'll work cross-functionally with Procurement, Supply Chain, Regulatory, Quality, Sales, Technical Services, and Operations, giving you visibility and influence well beyond a typical buyer role. You'll manage the full commodity lifecycle: market analysis, supplier audits and performance evaluations, cost reduction workshops, and corrective action processes. This isn't reactive purchasing—you're developing strategies to maximize leverage and protect supply continuity across the plastics and chemicals category. Relocation is paid, so this opportunity is open to strong candidates outside the immediate area.
