Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field
Five (5) or more years of supply chain experience in a global manufacturing environment
Basic understanding of mechanical parts
Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this position
Travel up to 15% domestic and international

Nice To Haves

Commodity management experience preferred
Strong written and verbal communications
Proficiency in Microsoft tools, especially PowerPoint and Excel

Responsibilities

Develop and implement sourcing strategies in alignment with organizational strategy to ensure a reliable supply chain for mechanical parts and assemblies
Monitor supplier performance to drive improvements and ensure global supply chain networks meet operational needs
Achieve cost savings and trade working capital improvements (DPO/Inventory) through negotiations, eSourcing, and other activities related to supplier selection and short/long-term strategies
Lead projects within assigned commodities and support annual financial planning cycles
Manage diverse group of suppliers – ensure KPI improvements and negotiate contracts
Assist with other strategic operations and supply chain projects and initiatives as needed
Offer support and mentoring for Associate Commodity Managers
