About The Position

Jolt Credit Union is seeking members to serve on its volunteer committees. The credit union is dedicated to a member-focused approach and encourages full commitment from its committee members. While these positions are unpaid, they offer valuable benefits such as industry-specific training at conferences, an annual holiday party, direct engagement with Jolt's leadership, and opportunities to attend board meetings, along with Jolt merchandise. Additionally, there are chances to represent Jolt at sponsored golf outings and community events. Committee members must not have a fiduciary relationship with Jolt, meaning they cannot be an employee, vendor, agent, or compensated independent contractor. All committee appointments are made by the Jolt Board of Directors for one-year terms, and members must be in good standing.

• Cannot have a fiduciary relationship with Jolt (i.e., cannot be an employee, vendor, agent, or independent contractor receiving compensation from Jolt)
• Must be appointed by the Jolt Board of Directors
• Must serve for 1-year terms

Responsibilities

• Arranging for audits & account verifications
• Addressing member complaints
• Meeting with Jolt management
• Reviewing new loans & loan charge off details
• Review of credit union ALM reports & financial statements
• May attend periodic meetings
• Provide input for Jolt product & pricing decisions
• Review of annual budget reports
