About The Position

EXP is seeking a Commissioning Specialist to provide commissioning services to clients across North America as part of its Sustainability Sector. The sector supports public- and private-sector clients working toward efficient, healthy buildings. The role includes local and out-of-state travel to client sites and involves reviewing owner project requirements, conducting design reviews, developing commissioning specifications, and preparing commissioning plans, checklists, and tests. The specialist also visits project sites to observe commissioning tests, works with contractors to resolve issues found during testing, writes field and final reports, and creates systems manuals.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of previous experience in commissioning, mechanical and/or electrical engineering design, test and balance, and/or building automation system checkout.
• Commissioning certification, or extensive installation and building automation system programming experience.

Nice To Haves

• EIT certification preferred.
