About The Position

The Commissioning & Reliability Manager supports commissioning and reliability activities for assigned projects in mission-critical facilities. The role coordinates with third-party commissioning agents, reviews commissioning plans, scripts, and deliverables, witnesses testing as needed, and verifies that results and evidence are complete and accurate. It supports quality assurance and readiness across Level 4 functional testing and Level 5 Integrated Systems Testing (IST), including formal system gates between commissioning levels. The manager maintains project commissioning issue logs, prioritizes deficiencies, drives root-cause analysis and verified closeout of critical and high-priority issues, and works with Site Operations to assess open risks and document appropriate workarounds or Manual Operating Procedures. The role aligns general contractors and vendors with commissioning schedules, documentation requirements, and technical design intent; collaborates with project stakeholders on MEP system implementation and verification; and communicates project status, challenges, and action plans to management and teams. The position also trains third-party personnel on Aligned’s quality and commissioning programs, manages project use of Cx Alloy or an equivalent platform, and develops project-level feedback loops. It identifies and implements process improvements to commissioning readiness, testing rigor, issue closeout, and turnover outcomes, while incorporating lessons learned into future projects. A bachelor’s degree in a relevant engineering or technical field is requested, with equivalent education and experience considered. The posting seeks 3–6 years of experience in commissioning, reliability, or mission-critical facilities delivery, along with relevant Level 4 and Level 5 testing, issue management, systems knowledge, technical-document interpretation, controls/trending, and commissioning-platform experience. The role may require occasional travel to facility sites and includes extended periods of sitting or standing.
