About The Position

The Commissioning Provider III serves as a technical resource for Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, focusing on HVAC system optimization, operational performance, and verification of energy savings. Projects generally span complex, multi-building and multi-campus portfolios in higher education and healthcare environments. The role provides internal quality and performance support in collaboration with engineering, construction, controls, and operations teams throughout design and execution. It ensures that system designs and sequences of operation are installed in alignment with project intent and support energy performance targets, with consistent delivery across large, complex, multi-site programs. The position plans and executes commissioning, reviews designs, validates sequences of operation, coordinates functional performance testing, and identifies opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. Working closely with retro-commissioning teams, controls contractors, and design teams, the Commissioning Provider optimizes airside and waterside systems and supports project turnover and long-term operational performance. The role requires HVAC, building automation, and energy conservation expertise, along with the ability to analyze complex system interactions and drive resolution across multidisciplinary teams. Travel of 30–50% is required.
