About The Position

The Commissioning Provider III is a technical resource supporting Energy-as-a-Service (EaaS) projects, primarily focused on HVAC system optimization, operational performance, and verification of energy savings outcomes. Projects are generally delivered across complex, multi-building and multi-campus portfolios in higher education and healthcare environments. The role serves as an internal quality and performance resource, collaborating with engineering, construction, controls, and operations teams throughout design and execution. It ensures system designs and sequences of operation are installed in alignment with project intent and support energy performance targets, with consistent delivery across large, complex, multi-site programs. The position plans and executes commissioning, reviews designs, validates sequences of operation, coordinates functional performance testing, and identifies opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and maintainability. It works closely with retro-commissioning teams, controls contractors, and design teams to optimize airside and waterside systems and support successful project turnover and long-term operational performance. The role requires HVAC, building automation, and energy conservation expertise, strong execution quality and documentation, and the ability to analyze complex system interactions and resolve issues across multidisciplinary teams.
