About The Position

C2O Group is seeking an experienced Commissioning Leads (all disciplines) to support a major LNG facility project in Southern Louisiana. The Commissioning Lead will be responsible for overseeing commissioning and startup activities within their assigned area, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant execution throughout the project lifecycle. This role will serve as a key interface between engineering, construction, operations, vendors, and client stakeholders to drive project readiness and successful startup execution.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, or a related technical discipline.
  • 10-15 years of experience supporting LNG, oil & gas, petrochemical, industrial, or energy infrastructure projects.
  • Demonstrated experience leading commissioning, startup, operational readiness, or turnover activities.
  • Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience working within multidisciplinary project teams and fast-paced project environments.
  • Knowledge of commissioning systems, work processes, and industry best practices.

Nice To Haves

  • LNG project experience is strongly preferred.
  • Experience supporting large-scale EPC or brownfield/greenfield industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with commissioning management systems and turnover software platforms.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining safety, quality, and schedule objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Lead commissioning, startup, and operational readiness activities within assigned systems or disciplines.
  • Develop and execute commissioning plans, schedules, procedures, and reporting requirements.
  • Coordinate closely with engineering, construction, operations, vendors, subcontractors, and client representatives to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Support system turnover, pre-commissioning, commissioning, startup, and performance testing activities.
  • Facilitate readiness reviews, risk assessments, punch list management, and issue resolution efforts.
  • Monitor project progress and provide status updates, forecasts, and commissioning metrics to project leadership.
  • Ensure compliance with project safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture and support safe work practices throughout all commissioning activities.
  • Participate in project planning meetings, stakeholder engagements, and execution strategy development.
