The role of a Warehouse Clerk involves preparing customer orders by placing cases and barrels of beer on pallets and packaging them, loading and unloading delivery trucks using a forklift or pallet jack, and being responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of transshipment areas. Requirements

• Good physical condition - heavy loads to handle (More than 700 cases per shift)
• 16 years of age or older

Nice To Haves

• Warehouse experience with pallet jacks is an asset

Responsibilities

• Prepare customer orders by placing cases and barrels of beer on pallets and packaging them
• Load and unload delivery trucks using a forklift or pallet jack
• Be responsible for the cleaning and maintenance of transshipment areas
• Perform physical and manual activities as needed, including standing for long periods, walking, lifting, pushing, twisting, pulling, and bending
• Lift objects up to 80 lb
• Climb ladders/stairs
• Work on slippery floors
• Lift an object higher than shoulders
• Operate motorized equipment
• Be exposed to vibrations
• Be able to wear all required PPE: including safety shoes, glasses, cap, hearing protection (jewelry must be removed)
• Be able to work in a team
