About The Position

Match Retail is looking for a Merchandiser for their client Nespresso. In close collaboration with the Nespresso team, the Merchandiser will ensure that displays are stocked, cleaned, organized, and accessible to enhance the customer shopping experience in various retail points of sale. This position is a full-time contract with the possibility of extension.

Requirements

1 to 3 years of experience in merchandising or sales in consumer goods or luxury goods
Valid driver's license and access to a reliable car required
Strong focus on customer service and ability to build lasting relationships and convey brand messages
Good problem-solving and time management skills
Attention to detail, reliability, and friendliness
Ability to work independently remotely
Good command of the Windows environment (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Must have access to a smartphone with data to upload photos and complete daily reports
Certain physical tasks required (up to 50 lb)
Must be willing to travel to all stores in their territory

Responsibilities

Visit stores daily according to your time and territory plan
Ensure the on-shelf presence of all SKUs listed by point of sale (POS)
Install and dismantle promotional displays in POS in accordance with the national plan
Ensure that the negotiated space is respected
Manage in-store machine stock to ensure assortment/supply and minimize stockouts
Provide in-store training on promotions and new product launches to sales associates
Update expired capsule samples and coffee supply for tasting
Showcase machines and stock in accordance with brand guidelines
Clean and organize the Nespresso space, including machines, displays, and the tasting station
Collect daily data on POS, distribution, competition, and in-store activities in NTT (system application)
Provide comprehensive reports, including action items, recommendations, etc., during each store visit to the Nespresso team
Be an ambassador for the Nespresso brand in all assigned retail stores
