About The Position

American Motors is seeking a driven, results-oriented Commercial Truck Wholesale Manager to build and expand our wholesale truck operation. Requirements

  • Proven experience buying and selling commercial trucks
  • Strong understanding of truck valuations and wholesale markets
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills

  • Experience leading teams or managing operations
  • Knowledge of Class 4–8 truck markets

Responsibilities

  • Source and purchase Class 4–8 commercial trucks nationwide
  • Develop relationships with fleets, dealerships, leasing companies, auctions, wholesalers, and owner-operators
  • Evaluate market opportunities and negotiate profitable purchases
  • Manage inventory flow to support company sales objectives
  • Build and maintain a nationwide network of wholesale buyers
  • Market and sell trucks to dealers, wholesalers, exporters, and fleet operators
  • Maximize inventory turns and gross profit
  • Consistently achieve sales and purchasing goals
  • Help recruit and develop top-performing team members
  • Foster a culture of accountability, growth, and execution
  • Continuously improve systems, processes, and performance standards
  • Address performance issues quickly and professionally when necessary
  • Identify new markets and opportunities for expansion
  • Analyze market trends and pricing data
  • Work directly with ownership to grow wholesale volume and profitability

Benefits

  • Base Salary: $90,000
