About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Commercial Truck Alignment & Front-End Mechanic to join one of our valued client partners in Santa Fe Springs, California. This opportunity is ideal for an experienced heavy-duty truck technician with a strong background in commercial truck alignments, front-end diagnostics, steering systems, and suspension repairs. The successful candidate will take pride in delivering accurate repairs, maintaining high safety standards, and ensuring fleet vehicles return to service with optimal performance.

Requirements

  • Proven experience performing commercial truck alignments
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty truck front-end suspension and steering systems
  • Experience operating computerized alignment equipment and related software
  • Demonstrated ability to diagnose and repair heavy-duty steering and suspension components
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to read and interpret repair procedures and technical documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, California
  • U.S.-based applicants only
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience servicing Class 7 and Class 8 commercial trucks
  • Previous fleet maintenance or heavy-duty truck dealership experience
  • ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certification(s) or equivalent technical certifications
  • Experience with preventive maintenance inspections
  • Welding or fabrication experience is a plus
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) is preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision commercial truck alignments using computerized alignment equipment
  • Diagnose front-end, steering, suspension, and alignment-related issues on heavy-duty commercial trucks
  • Inspect, repair, and replace kingpins, tie rods, drag links, ball joints, bushings, and related steering components
  • Perform wheel balancing and tire-related services to manufacturer specifications
  • Inspect suspension systems for wear, damage, and proper operation
  • Complete accurate repair orders, inspections, and maintenance documentation
  • Communicate repair findings and recommendations with service advisors and management
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all shop safety procedures
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized tools to ensure accurate repairs
  • Deliver quality workmanship while meeting productivity and turnaround expectations
