About The Position

HireNow Staffing is actively recruiting a seasoned, highly skilled Commercial Truck Alignment & Front-End Mechanic to join one of our valued client partners in Santa Fe Springs, California. This is a full-time onsite opportunity for an experienced heavy-duty truck technician who takes pride in precision workmanship, advanced diagnostics, and keeping commercial fleets operating safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate brings extensive experience performing commercial truck alignments, front-end repairs, suspension diagnostics, and steering system maintenance while maintaining exceptional quality standards and a safety-first mindset.

Requirements

  • Proven experience performing commercial truck alignments
  • Strong knowledge of heavy-duty front-end suspension and steering systems
  • Experience using computerized alignment equipment and alignment software
  • Ability to diagnose and repair heavy-duty steering, suspension, and alignment components
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting and diagnostic abilities
  • Ability to interpret repair manuals and technical documentation
  • Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to work onsite in Santa Fe Springs, California
  • U.S.-based applicants only
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

  • Experience servicing Class 7 and Class 8 commercial trucks
  • ASE Medium/Heavy Truck Certifications
  • Fleet maintenance or heavy-duty dealership experience
  • Experience performing complete front-end rebuilds
  • Welding or fabrication experience
  • CDL (Commercial Driver's License) preferred but not required
  • Strong communication and customer service skills

Responsibilities

  • Perform precision wheel alignments on commercial trucks and heavy-duty fleet vehicles using computerized alignment equipment
  • Diagnose and repair front-end suspension, steering, and alignment-related issues
  • Inspect, service, and replace kingpins, tie rods, drag links, ball joints, bushings, and related steering components
  • Perform wheel balancing, tire inspections, and tire-related maintenance services
  • Conduct detailed front-end inspections to identify wear, damage, and preventative maintenance needs
  • Utilize diagnostic equipment and specialized shop tools to identify mechanical issues accurately
  • Complete repair orders, inspection reports, and maintenance documentation with accuracy
  • Communicate repair recommendations and vehicle conditions with service advisors and management
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following all OSHA and shop safety procedures
  • Deliver repairs efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction
