About The Position

The Commercial Tire Service Technician is responsible for the sales, service, and maintenance of commercial tires and wheels. The role provides excellent customer service and completes work according to company policies, procedures, and the Code of Conduct. The position includes installing and maintaining tires and wheels; repairing, rotating, and inflating tires; attaching and rebalancing wheels; installing, rebuilding, or relearning and calibrating TPMS; washing tires and wheels; testing and installing batteries; and using and maintaining equipment. The technician also assists other employees, test drives vehicles, and operates service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services. The role promotes store sales and uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers. On-the-job training is available.

Requirements

Valid driver's license.
Excellent customer service skills.
Ability to work in a rapid-pace environment.
Frequent lifting of weights between 35 and 75 pounds.
Frequent bending, twisting, and kneeling, and continuous squatting, reaching, walking, and standing.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain tires and wheels.
Repair, rotate, and inflate tires.
Attach and rebalance wheels.
Install or rebuild TPMS, and relearn or calibrate TPMS as needed.
Wash tires and wheels.
Test and install batteries.
Use and maintain equipment.
Assist other employees.
Test drive vehicles.
Operate service vehicles for offsite and emergency road services.
Provide excellent customer service and promote store sales using the Best Tire Value Promise.
