About The Position

As a Commercial Tire Technician II, you'll perform tire service, repair, and replacement for commercial, medium truck, and agricultural equipment both in the shop and on the road. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills, a commitment to safety, and excellent customer service. You'll operate a fully equipped service truck, responding to roadside and customer location service calls while ensuring customers get back up and running quickly and safely.

Requirements

Previous commercial tire, agricultural tire, or automotive service experience preferred.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Ability to safely operate service trucks and related equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to continue learning.
Basic computer skills and experience using point-of-sale or service management systems preferred.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple service calls.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Dependable attendance and commitment to workplace safety.

Responsibilities

Mount, dismount, repair, and replace commercial, medium truck, and agricultural tires.
Perform tire inspections, rotations, flat repairs, and larger tire repairs.
Diagnose tire and tube damage and recommend appropriate repairs or replacements.
Operate a commercial boom service truck safely and efficiently.
Respond to roadside service calls at customer locations, including highways, construction sites, farms, barns, and industrial facilities.
Safely lift and service heavy equipment, including tractors, combines, harvesters, and other agricultural machinery.
Understand and safely handle tire ballast, liquid sealants, and agricultural tire applications.
Maintain service truck inventory, tools, and equipment to ensure readiness for daily service calls.
Accurately document completed work and communicate with dispatch and service coordinators throughout the day.
Follow all company safety policies and maintain a clean, professional work environment.
Deliver outstanding customer service while building long-term customer relationships.
