This role is responsible for managing a team of bankers and a commercial loan portfolio. The Commercial Team Lead III will work closely with internal partners to develop new business relationships and prospects, while also retaining and expanding existing customer relationships. A key aspect of the role is to maximize bank profitability through effective pricing, fee income, and cross-selling of all bank products and services. The position involves preparing necessary documentation, monitoring the loan portfolio, and ensuring compliance with credit policies and regulatory guidelines. Additionally, the role requires identifying and capitalizing on cross-sell opportunities, executing a call program, and maintaining a pipeline of relationships and prospects. Providing financial advice and ensuring customer banking needs are met are also crucial. The leadership component involves mentoring teammates, setting and monitoring team goals, assisting the team with client acquisition and negotiation, and overseeing portfolio administration and risk management. This includes providing coaching, performance feedback, and development opportunities for direct reports, as well as collaborating with HR on staffing and personnel actions.
