About The Position

Wayne Automatic Fire Sprinklers, Inc. is seeking an experienced Commercial Superintendent for its Tampa, Florida branch, serving the surrounding areas. The role is responsible for daily operations within the Commercial Department, coordinating and directing Foremen, Fitters, and Apprentices. The Superintendent ensures each fire sprinkler system installation is completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the plans and applicable code.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of new-construction fire sprinkler experience.
• Professionalism and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Computer and software knowledge, including Q360 and other apps or programs as introduced.
• Ability to excel in an ever-changing environment.
• Ability to think innovatively, learn, and implement new methods and technologies.
• Confidence in making critical decisions.
• Self-motivated and self-directed, with the ability to build working relationships quickly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations within the Commercial Department.
• Coordinate and direct the activities of Foremen, Fitters, and Apprentices.
• Ensure fire sprinkler system installations are completed on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with plans and applicable code.
• Keep multiple projects on schedule.
