About The Position

This position is accountable to complete a variety of tasks and responsibilities associated with the servicing of commercial loans, i.e., conventional, construction, C&I and SBA loans with established department policies, procedures and processes. Books/Boards new loans to the core in a timely manner. Performs file maintenance of loans as needed such as interest rate adjustments, etc. Processes loan payments on a daily basis as needed. Assists with monthly UCC Monitoring as well as Tax Tracking, reviewing reports with the management team and processing as needed. Researches and resolves problem loan issues. Responsible for uploading loan documents into Sageworks in a timely manner. Provides ongoing monitoring of all insurance, real estate tax receipts, and UCC filings ticklers. Ensures the Credit Union is protected by staying current with these tracking items. Reaches out to the members and vendor companies as needed to ensure that the information is current and correct. Assists Security Service Federal Credit Union members via telephone, e-mail and written correspondence to execute all tasks associated with loan servicing including generating loan statement, research of loan payments, establishing ACH loan payments, providing amortization schedules and other related type of requests. Completes any other job-related duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Purpose, and abide by our Organization’s Values.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years Commercial Loan Administration experience with a financial institution or equivalent customer service experience with 1-year financial institution experience.
  • Exposure to Abrigo/Sageworks system, iLien and Lereta.
  • A proactive approach for improving the efficiency of the department.
  • Strong customer service and communication (verbal, written, listening) skills.
  • Able to work in a high-volume environment, maintaining a professional demeanor.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Access.
  • Able to research and use Internet efficiently.
  • Work independently in a high paced, deadline driven environment.
  • Organize duties and perform multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Excellent organization, critical deadline monitoring, and ability to prioritize and expedite requests.
  • Demonstrated self-motivation by managing own work schedule while keeping pace with priorities of management.
