About The Position

LifeROOTS is seeking a relationship-focused Commercial Services Advisor to help expand our commercial janitorial, facility services, floor care, and construction cleanup business. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building professional relationships, identifying customer needs, conducting facility walkthroughs, developing opportunities, and helping customers find service solutions that work. As the Commercial Services Advisor, you will serve as a trusted advisor throughout the contract acquisition process—from initial conversations and site assessments through proposal presentation and successful transition to operations. You will work closely with leadership, finance, project management, and contract administration to support sustainable growth while advancing LifeROOTS' mission.

Requirements

  • Two years of experience in business development, sales, account management, project management, customer service, or relationship management
  • Experience conducting customer walkthroughs, inspections, site assessments, or evaluating service requirements
  • Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
  • Ability to build and maintain professional customer relationships
  • Ability to manage multiple opportunities and priorities independently
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling commercial janitorial, floor care, construction cleanup, or facility services
  • Experience working with government, municipal, commercial, or industrial customers
  • Experience using HubSpot or other CRM systems
  • Experience responding to RFPs or supporting proposal development
  • Experience collaborating with operations or field service teams

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with property managers, contractors, business owners, government agencies, municipalities, and other potential customers
  • Prospect through networking, referrals, outreach, strategic partnerships, and relationship-building activities
  • Conduct customer discovery conversations to understand service needs, expectations, timelines, and decision-making processes
  • Perform facility walkthroughs, site assessments, and service evaluations
  • Complete FIT Assessments and determine whether opportunities align with organizational capabilities and priorities
  • Maintain accurate opportunity tracking and CRM documentation in HubSpot
  • Coordinate proposal development using approved templates and pricing processes
  • Present proposals and maintain professional follow-up throughout the sales cycle
  • Support contract acquisition, customer onboarding, and operational handoff activities
  • Collaborate with Project Managers, Finance, Human Resources, Training & Quality, and leadership throughout the contract acquisition process
